The 110th edition of Pitti Uomo has come to a close. An important edition, a unique fair, where you can discover the latest trends, innovations, and inspirations of the multifaceted world of menswear. There are many different types of menswear, where every buyer, manufacturer, and designer can find what best suits their needs.

The exhibition was divided into these main sections:

Future Classic: a choice among formal brands, whose prerogative is well-made garments, tailored according to the criteria of the finest tailoring.

Futuro Maschile: more contemporary clothing, where tradition and innovation blend, creating a highly interesting mix.

Dynamic Attitude: a focus on sportswear and streetwear collections.

Superstyling: the trendiest section with innovative collections that lead to the future.

I Go Out: the key word is NATURE, technical clothing, and outdoor wear.

This edition’s theme was “The Pitti Pool”, a different kind of pool—not Olympic-sized, not exclusive, but metaphorical—where the body is suspended between air and surface, between control and abandon, where gesture becomes reality.

Gabriele Pasini A unique and unmistakable style that combines the purest values of classic Neapolitan artisan tailoring with a contemporary, highly original, sometimes brazenly crazy, but always captivating style.

MAPPINA Milano A sophisticated brand that combines Japanese perfection with Italian artisanal values. The entire collection is Made in Italy, from raw materials to accessories and craftsmanship. The philosophy resonates with that of Italy’s golden age of the 1950s, whose aesthetic codes were one of absolute refinement.

Stefano Ricci: A brand founded in 1972 that has since been recognized worldwide as a leader in luxury menswear. 100% Made in Italy. A 360° concept, not just men’s fashion, but also home decor, design, watches, fragrances… all different types of products, but treated equally, with excellence.

MACKINTOSH: For over 200 years, the world’s most influential coat manufacturer. A brand distinguished by its artisanal excellence, unparalleled experience in rubberized cotton processing, and a growing and constantly evolving design.

PAUL & SHARK: a beautiful Italian story in which the discovery of an object gives life to a dream and a project characterized by excellence.

MANUEL RITZ: combines sartorial tradition with a more dynamic and modern vision, in cuts and fits. Founded in the distant 1970s, it is now part of the Paoloni group, a sort of guarantee.

Sartoria Partenopea: another beautiful Neapolitan story of haute couture. GiCapri: beautiful jackets that combine Neapolitan tailoring expertise with contemporary style.

PAOLONI: a beautiful mix of practicality and craftsmanship, innovation and heritage.

PSIDE: The brand interprets fashion as a hybrid language of classic elegance and street attitude, fueled by urban and cultural references: metropolitan architecture, subculture, and avant-garde. OUTRAILS: climbers, skiers, hikers… the collection is all for you, where technique and essentiality meet perfectly. HESTERN: aimed at those who want novelty without too much fuss, those who demand performance from a garment without becoming a sports ambassador. Comfortable and essential clothes.

AMUNDSEN: Roald Amundsen was a pioneer in the field of exploration, combining ancient wisdom with the cutting-edge technology of his time. Amundsen, a Norwegian brand, celebrates and honors this philosophy, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to create products designed for an ever-evolving outdoor lifestyle. SNOW PEAK: In 1958, the brand’s founder, Yukio Yamai, a skilled mountaineer, created his own line of climbing gear. Since 1980, his son has continued the company, which is now recognized throughout Japan and beyond for creating excellent products dedicated to those who love nature and make the outdoors a philosophy.

YUNLI – OUTOPIA BY VANISH: The I GO OUT section is transformed thanks to the collaboration with Outdoor Vanish magazine. The Yunli collection is very interesting: streetwear that combines mechanics, avant-garde, urban, and fetishism. Extreme and very creative.

FINOACINQUE: Inside the exhibition area, CODE KOREA is a contemporary and engaging shoe brand founded by designer Angela Lee, whose name derives from the fact that the heel never exceeds 5 cm. Innovation and Korean design with the finest Italian leathers.

Natal Design: A renowned Japanese outdoor brand that has developed a collaboration with the Danish magazine here at Pitti.

ALPENHAUS: A blend of fashion and functionality. Designed for mountain lovers, Alpenhaus brings an urban vibe to Alpine terrain, resulting in a technical product.

William Palmer: A British brand that combines the finest sartorial tradition with a touch of typically Anglo-Saxon humor. Its debut collection, “The Brief Exposure,” is at Pitti. It was only launched in 2025, but it has already won the prestigious L’Oréal Prize. I loved it.

AT.P.CO: In a short time, this Italian company has developed an interesting product, from its first collection of trousers, still their core business and a highly recognizable piece, to a much more comprehensive, highly credible total look offering.

IBELIV: A high-end fashion accessories brand that this year celebrates a significant milestone: 10 years of work combining craftsmanship and heart. Liva Ramanandraibe’s mission is to “create beauty by doing good.” Designed in France and handmade in their workshop in Madagascar, Liva’s creations tell the story of her country’s unique expertise: crocheted natural raffia. Distributed worldwide, IBELIV has quickly built a loyal community. Another stand among my favorites.

ELLESSE: A brand founded in 1959, it has transformed sport into a powerful lifestyle offering.

TELA GENOVA: Denim that tells stories. Natural fibers, ethical treatments, a blend of workwear and military for a timeless result that combines authenticity and modernity.

J QUALITY: A project promoted by the Japan Apparel & Fashion Industry Council, bringing together the finest in textile craftsmanship. A partnership between companies and designers, with the special and valuable advice of Hirofumi Kurino.

SANYCOAT Made in Japan, where tradition and innovation meet. Timeless coats and raincoats, made to last. Fabulous.

AQUASCUTUM ACTIVE: an English brand founded in 1851, has retained its DNA almost intact. True to the best Anglo-Saxon traditions, Aquascutum Active reinterprets the concept of heritage for those who live the city in a contemporary and dynamic way. Functionality is the key.

LUIGI BIANCHI: An elegantly essential collection of excellent quality. The line is enhanced with a Made to Measure service that embodies the luxury of an exclusive tailored suit.

GRAN SASSO: a premium knitwear brand founded in 1952 in the heart of Abruzzo. Knitwear is the cornerstone of an elegant and timeless men’s wardrobe.

PETRONIUS 1926: A century ago, the Petronius atelier was founded in Milan thanks to the genius of Luigi Wollisch. An artisanal workshop that has since then created hand-sewn ties, still cut with “grandfather’s scissors.” Today, Petronius is a men’s accessories atelier dedicated to elegant, refined, and cultured men. A brand honestly true to itself, a family story of great love and talent.

Pitti People The theme of the swimming pool should make us reflect on what appears and what actually is. Fashion is not just glamour and sequins; it is characterized by the work of hundreds of thousands of small, sometimes very small, companies that make excellent products like buttons, embroidery, labels…; by skilled hands capable of creating works of art, by creative flair that, in a basement or in a high-tech company, are capable of great creations. This is the Italian textile culture, this is Made in Italy. The hard work, the miracles, the wisdom and experience that lie behind fashion. Just like designer Philéo Landowski and artist Pascal Hachem, who imagined a swimming pool “behind the scenes,” that is, of what is not seen, like cables or pipes, but which is essential for its proper functioning.

Pitti People See you at the next Pitti Uomo, which will be from January 19th to 21st, 2027.

Have a good life, everyone!

Beatrice
