PITTI BIMBO 103 NOT JUST FASHION…

This edition showcased a wealth of fashion, but also new ideas in contemporary design.

The organizers did a great job bundling two events on the same show date: Pitti Bimbo and Pitti Filati. Many buyers took advantage of the opportunity to visit both pavilions.

Pitti Bimbo Miscellaneous

For some seasons, Pitti Bimbo has also hosted smaller brands, which, often due to their size, are able to focus on a specific product and create original collections, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail.

There were many foreign buyers, particularly from Japan, Spain, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

JUNONA: A Bulgarian company founded in 2000 that has consolidated its market presence in just a few years. The collections are delightful; for a little modern princess, each piece is crafted like a small masterpiece.

HALCYON NIGHTS: Born in Australia but a citizen of the world, this collection is fresh and full of creativity, playful and suitable for everyday life, with vibrant dresses and prints inspired by fairytale heroes and works of art.

RHYME by RUPAMANI: Rupamani Konijeti founded this children’s clothing company with the intention of conveying a sense of magic. Each piece is made in India by skilled artisans, with BEAUTIFUL hand embroidery, small clothes to keep and collect.

ANAK KETJIL: In Indonesian, this name means “child,” a clear intent from the beginning. The brand is Australian, with an Indonesian soul, especially in supporting the mothers who lovingly sew every single piece there. Its mission is very specific: to help children live colorful lives. The flavor and scent of the sun and the sea are in the air.

OCEANUS: A very glamorous swimwear line, in the best tradition of Studio 54 in the 1980s. The swimsuits, already very popular for women, are here in the kids’ range. For women and daughters, for all those who want to stand out, even on the beach.

CROCS: A leader in a type of footwear recognizable around the world. The fun “gadgets” applied to the kids’ collection are comfortable, lightweight, and soft…

BIMBALÒ: Formal dresses for ages 0 to 8. 100% Made in Italy products, featuring the highest quality materials and an original, modern design.

SPERANZA: Designed and produced in the United Arab Emirates with a passion that is perfectly conveyed in their products. The embroidered dresses are beautiful, precious, rich in detail, yet easy to wear.

PATACHOU: Clothing and accessories for ages 0 to 14. A seemingly classic collection, yet exclusive in its design and choice of materials. An added value is the “Spreading Smiles” concept: for every item purchased, the brand makes a donation, because, as I always say, smiling and making others smile is the most beautiful thing in the world.

NIKOLIA: Starting with denim, you’ve created total-look collections—two friends, two mothers, two entrepreneurs who have kept their goal intact.

MARIE CLAIRE Infant: A leading magazine for women’s trends and lifestyle, but also entertainment and culture. Here are some of its most beautiful covers.

The next Pitti Bimbo event is on January 20th and 21st, 2027. It will be a busy autumn, but hopefully filled with peace.

Every time I visit these pavilions with the children’s collections, I think that they are the recipients, the little ones all over the world who truly deserve a better world.

Good luck to everyone!

Beatrice
