It continues my journey inside the salon to share with you really beautiful things. I have been very proud of the collection Z ZEGNA, when you see the pictures you will understand why…<\/p>\n

Z ZEGNA<\/strong> collection is always beautiful, for style, elegance, materials, innovation … and it is precisely this feature that I started to talk about because Pitti debuted the first Zegna washable merino wool, TECHMERINO. The finest wool, comfortable, breathable and perfect for the hectic pace of today, does not need laundry, does not consume or deteriorate over time. Elegant mannequins filled the space as a starting point for a vintage race like that, sponsored for 25 years by Zegna, Portofino. Really a fantastic collection designed by the good Alessandro Sartori, I did not manage to optimize the photos because every outfit deserved to be mentioned.<\/p>\n

I have been preparing and exhibiting during the exhibition for ASAHI KASEI FIBERS trends mood boards for the Spring Summer 2018, identifying what will be the strongest trends for me for next season.<\/p>\n

The first theme is “BLOOM”<\/strong>, in conjunction with Pitti’s guide theme; a mood dedicated to flowers, color, the desire for optimism and positivity that, even through clothing, should be the basis of human thought. Vitamins colors, flou, prints, designs, patterns and embroidery. But also playful graphics. Incentricity in small details. Natural fabrics, cotton, jersey, satin.<\/p>\n

The second theme “GREY”<\/strong> highlights the return to a certain elegance, especially through the use of the man’s suits in the fabrics, the shapes and the more classic colors. The color palette has all the shades of gray to get to the blue powder and white. Super light wool, tailor’s, fresh wool, cashmere, always characterized by a technological touch in the mix for greater comfort and lighterness.<\/p>\n

The theme “NOMAD”<\/strong> wants to emphasize the desire for freedom and evasion that characterizes the human soul. The desire for adventure, to go without a goal to enrich mind and spirit. The lines are more destructed, the soft proportions, the comfortable lengths. Colors: orange, rope, mastic, mustard, but next to this \u201cwarm\u201d and summer palette, there is another made of purple, pink and blue powder, ecru. Embroideries and precious or crochet apples with a little gipsy flavor. Wool and gauze super light, linen.<\/p>\n

The theme “HOKUSAI”<\/strong> in honor of the great Japanese artist. Nature and its power are fil rouge. Many blue shades often adhere to the ecru, a neutral dye serving as a base. The lines are oriental, soft, with no closures as buttons. Parka, short sleeve woven shirt, kimonos\/jackets. New proposal of camouflage, in blue tones and with maxi fantasies. Very important details.<\/p>\n

The theme “LAND”<\/strong> is landscaped, naturalistic, ecological. Green in all its gradations, but also the rope, the mastic, saffron. Designs camouflage, soft graphisms. Functional outfits, pockets, zip, veils, details for greater comfort and convenience. Nylon blended with cotton, microfibre, mesh. Touch of Gold.<\/p>\n

The theme “REGIMENTAL”<\/strong> is a new form of preppy style. Stripes, plasterings, edges in gros grain. Patches, coats of arms, references to old style college campuses. Dusty white, stucco, brick, many shades of blue with dusty shadows. Wool, cotton jersey, back fabric in drawings and manufactures but with tech features (mixes).<\/p>\n

OLD RONDA,<\/strong> a project tied to the shoe factory Romano Martegani who has been making beautiful shoes since 1891, just like these. Walking I stopped suddenly, pure wonder. Tomaie precious, but also creative, luxurious, eccentric, but everything, and it is not easy, done with elegance.<\/p>\n
