ST. Javelin Julia<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In this project cured by <b>Sergio Risaliti,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b> (the name is inspired by the Javelin missile, sent to Ukraine in support of the resistance, which has become a symbol of a protective Madonna) the artist invites Ukrainian refugee women to tell their stories through images and interviews.<\/p>\n<p>St.Javelin is an image born and spread during the war in Ukraine that depicts the Madonna holding an anti-tank missile, the Javelin, symbol of resistance, in her arms. In some ways it is a deliberately provocative iconography because it totally overturns the image of Mary mother, but, in this way, it calls the world&#8217;s attention to the horrors of war, violence and death.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4-JULIA-KRAHN_ST.Javelin-Alexandra_Mimose-2022-768x958-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-38860\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4-JULIA-KRAHN_ST.Javelin-Alexandra_Mimose-2022-768x958-1-241x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"241\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4-JULIA-KRAHN_ST.Javelin-Alexandra_Mimose-2022-768x958-1-241x300.jpeg 241w, https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4-JULIA-KRAHN_ST.Javelin-Alexandra_Mimose-2022-768x958-1.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 241px) 100vw, 241px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Julia Krahn. Javelin Mimose<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ten flags bearing portraits of Ukrainian refugee women will be installed in the external loggia of the Museo del Novecento, bringing with them a message of resistance and peace.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/5-Marina.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-38862\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/5-Marina-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/5-Marina-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.beatricebrandini.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/5-Marina.jpg 649w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Julia Krahn. ST.
