The PERFORMING MU theme<\/b><\/p>\n

The key word is \u201cPerfomance\u201d<\/i><\/b> which refers to physical performance and the potential of the body, but also to the artistic and creative expressions of the mind, and, in the textile field, to the extraordinary artisanal ability to create innovative, high-performance, technological and sustainable fabrics.\u00a0From this claim, three themes were developed in the PERFORMING MU <\/i><\/b>research,\u00a0for Autumn-Winter 2026\/27.\u00a0PERFORMING SPACE – PERFORMING BODIES – PERFORMING ARTS<\/b><\/p>\n

Performing Space<\/i><\/b> means space, cosmos, science fiction, innovation of futuristic materials that protect and change the body.\u00a0Imagining space as a galaxy means conceiving it as a living, changing, expanding environment.\u00a0Metallic and reflective fabrics and accessories, such as Mylar, used for NASA space suits, mirrored surfaces that capture light. Fabrics<\/b> that light up or change shape through electrical impulses. Nano-fabrics and regenerating materials.\u00a0The colors <\/i>are represented by cold tones such as deep blue and petrol blue, black, and silver.<\/p>\n

Performing Bodies<\/i><\/b> <\/i><\/b>is the body is no longer a fixed and definitive element, but is understood as a plastic material that gives rise to new forms. It is probably a deeper need, that of creating an emotion; fabrics, accessories,<\/b> and therefore clothing, become a multisensory artistic language.
