Milan Unica has presented the S / S 2019 trends and launches a strong appeal: “SAVE THE PLANET”.

In Milan, in the beautiful Vetra Theater in the same square, Milan Unica has organized a day for presenting trends in 2019; talking about protecting the planet just by touching the textile industry, is just a great message as well as a way to sensitize the whole system.

Three main themes inspired by international global trends, centered on three indispensable elements for the life of our planet: Water, Air and Earth, combined with a slogan that looks to the future: “Milano Unica: Save the Planet” . Creative director Stefano Fedda.                   Jacques Costeau (water), Rudolf Nureyev (air) e i Masai (earth), three symbolic juxtapositions that join men to nature. With a prepositional and important final message, the love for life, for all human beings and nature.

WATER. “Jacques Cousteau and the mystery of Atlantis”. Very important figure, that of Cousteau, also because he was among the first to carry out ecological battles for the respect of flora and marine life.

Like an astronaut in zero gravity, so Rudolf Nureyev was able to elevate his body into the air, with the lightness of a dragonfly and the poetic power of an angel. But also with a theatrical nature equal to that of a rock star. MARERIALS: We find fabrics that use the sun and the wind as power supply systems, eco-suxtainable, cosmetic techonlogies applicable to “second skin”. Tulles, satins multi coloured, muslines have iridescent effects, fine muslines and Zephyr cloth are increasingly lighter and impalpable. Plissè fabircs have rigid structures. Designs are shiny and abtracts. COLORS: Celestial grey, cyber pink, luminescent orange, jade, sunrise magneta and black. ACCESSORIES: The world of Robotics inspired laminated cordura with inserts of bright micro trimmings and labels and embroidery with microchips. Jewel applications.

It is a necessity to address these issues, every day the report contain news of disasters caused by air pollution, air and sea have become exhausts, making our beautiful planet more fragile . “Milan Unica transmits the need for revival of our planet increasingly threatened by unrepentant or irrational agreements …. We all have a great responsibility: we must make a fashionable look and, at the same time, help save our planet.” these are the statements by Antonella Martinetto, President of Moda In.

Ecology and Fashion are topics of great relevance, becoming more and more a demand that requires work and commitment. We hope that Fashion, with its influence, can really change something on this delicate theme.

Good life to everyone!

Beatrice
