Here at Pitti the protagonists are the Swarovski crystals which find a new home on the knitwear designed by Marco Rambaldi.

Millefili. As always one of the busiest stands for creativity, kindness and GENEROSITY. This year, on the one hand, two very talented calligraphers were personalizing notes, on the other, an artist was doing the same with a marker. Quality yarns since 1981 do the rest.

Shima Seiki Italia from what the mannequins wear we can understand what types of processes, effects and results we can obtain with Shima Sieki machinery. For a few seasons the designer Vittorio Branchizio has been creating highly creative and technical collections, a bit of an icing on the cake for what was already very interesting.

Biella Yarn Yarns such as cashmere, merino wool… Yarns as passion and mission. Retro and elegant taste, it reminded me of the masterpiece “The Garden of the Finzi Contini”.

THE COLOR ROOM was an outpost of the Research Space that welcomed the visitor in an immersive installation of color proposals. Evocative and suggestive images invited a journey through time and space.

My story of Pitti Filati ends here, we’ll meet in June with the edition and the proposals for Autumn – Winter 2025-26.

The exhibition concluded with an increase in terms of visitors. I saw exhibitors working with their heads bowed over traces and color charts, this can only mean orders and a good push to move forward with the creativity that has always distinguished the proposals of this fair. I would add that for the most part these are historic companies in the Tuscan area of Prato and its surroundings, companies that have resisted on their own and have moved forward with perseverance, dedication and love for their work, as well as, obviously, an immense creative talent in doing beautiful things.

Good life to everyone!

Beatrice
