The women’s ready to wear fashion shows for the next Spring Summer 2022 have just been held in New York. In the post I observed and then collected the macro trends, knowing them will help you in your next purchases (even low cost).
The most important sign captured on these catwalks is that of inclusion. Many black models and in plus sizes, I think it is the first time, with few exceptions, that absolutely normal women were the real protagonists. However, I am not so convinced of the good faith of all the fashion houses that have adopted this fashion show, but I rather believe that this is a fashion and a means to grace an audience and a wider target.

But we came to trends. The first one I want to suggest is the TIMELESS Black & White one. Is there anything more classic and elegant than a little black dress with a touch of White (and vice versa)? Of an optical contrast, of an ethnic sign that recalls the wildest and most sophisticated jungle, like the fleece of the zebra?

Green, the green one of the absolute protagonists in next summer’s palette. Very acidic and sometimes soft, green is also the color of hope, to restart and put behind these last two terrible years of pandemic. Remember, nothing is casual in fashion.

Flowers, another wonderfully current theme. Flowers that evoke perfumes, atmospheres, dreamlike sensations. They are very artistic flowers and suitable for a special evening, for the debut in society, for a great ball. Also because the flowers, real or printed on a dress, have the placebo effect of healing your soul.

Fringes are an original touch to enrich a hem or a sleeve, but here in New York they have been the protagonists of dresses, suggesting the right twist between exotic and contemporary.

Orange, another color seen almost everywhere. Vitamin shades to soften a couple of really gloomy winters. The orange, which is not suitable for everyone, however, has the ability to transport us immediately into the summer. If you don’t particularly love this shade you can “console yourself” with an accessory in the various shades of tangerine.

Finally my favorite theme: FUN. For the child in you despite having passed the door, to play with fashion, to have fun and entertain. It is not always possible to wear these creations in everyday life, but when it happens it is really a party.
