The claim of the Spazio Ricerca we live was “INTO THE WILD”, wanting to underline that in a wild age. Apparently we have everything, but progress, with its inexorable rush, has changed every balance.

Trade, politics, economics, finance are wild, but above all technology is wild, which, yes, connects us with the world, but separates us, creating a rift between what is real and unreal.

Wild, however, can also be an opportunity, if we save the connection with nature, romance and adventure from this term. After all, the savages created the world, it could be an opportunity to start again.

VICTOR VICTORIA, is the theme of gender fluidity. The starting point is the beautiful film by Blacke Edwards, with a fantastic Julie Andrews, in which roles and opportunities are reversed. Password: COUP DE THÉÂTRE.

Of all the events organized by Pitti, Pitti Filati is clearly my favorite. Pitti Uomo and Pitti Bimbo, every six months, stage proposals from incredible increasingly creative brands, then there is the glamorous aspect, the events around the city, the international army that comes to Florence … ; but it is at Pitti Filati that you can see the magic of fashion, as if from a “simple” yarn you can get incredible artifacts. After all, the motto “Into the Wild” is perfect because only being wild allows us to be free, and freedom is also and above all creativity.
