SS 2027 Runway Shows: we’ll be ready for the heat!

Crochet by Beatrice Brandini

The fashion shows have just ended, I try to highlight what the fashion trends for next spring summer seen at the Fashion Weeks will be.

I have only told a few, in reality there was also much more, such as the exposed bra, the mini balloon skirts, the red, the orange, the flowers, the mix of prints, transparencies… Not everything is always easy to wear, but there were many interesting proposals.

Leather by Beatrice Brandini

I start with the Leather. More than a trend, I would say it is a confirmation, in fact leather is now offered by almost all brands and designers. It has become to all intents and purposes a fabric, on which to experiment with shapes and leaves that are nothing less than other fashions. There is also a tendency to use leather in a minimal way, leaving only the material to do the talking.

Pastel by Beatrice Brandini

Pastel. Sweet, soft, ethereal colours. Almost everyone proposed them. Perhaps in a rather complicated historical moment like the current one, pastel colors make us dream and dress in romance, something we extremely need.

Easy Sporty Pants by Beatrice Brandini

Easy Sporty Pants are trousers with a cargo or sporty cut, floating when combined with light and transparent fabrics, or more supported and masculine with canvas or denim. They are interesting because they combine with elegant and structured blazers, or with sculptural tops, mixing a sporty garment with a couture one, the effect is decidedly powerful.

Feathers by Beatrice Brandini

Feathers that adorn a dress or accent the hem or sleeves of a jacket. Dramatic yet suitable for streetwear, they add a distinctive touch—ensuring you won’t go unnoticed.

Blue by Beatrice Brandini

Blue is the color of the upcoming Spring/Summer season. Sophisticated and mysterious, it is the perfect shade for effortless elegance (as King Giorgio Armani well knew with his signature navy T-shirts). It instantly evokes summer vibes and looks stunning paired with white, pearl, or silver tones.

Crochet by Beatrice Brandini

Crochet brings back the handiwork of our grandmothers—ancient traditions being rediscovered because it is important not to forget our past and the manual craftsmanship behind such precious techniques. Many designs on the runway featured this style, particularly in shades of pure, pristine white.

Skirts by Beatrice Brandini

Skirts are the absolute stars of the upcoming summer season. Prada made them the defining feature of its entire collection (and if Miuccia says so, you can trust it). There are many variations: from ultra-mini lengths to knee-length styles—the latter being my personal favorite and the most frequently seen on the runways. Elegant and versatile, they can be styled for the office, a chic lunch, or an evening aperitif. Men love them, and—even though such a statement might draw criticism these days—I believe that rediscovering one’s femininity is a great form of freedom.

Wishing you all the best!

Beatrice
