The 82nd edition of Pitti Filati dedicated to spring – summer 2019 ends here. The international appointment with the new fashion and lifestyle trends of knitting yarns, with its research laboratories and the richest suggestions of knitwear.

MODA FUTURIBILE realized by Dyloan Studio. Fashion as an element of research with a transverse and interdisciplinary approch. MODA FUTURIBILE enhance the excellences of fashion system, developing and presenting during specific exhibithions as Pitti FIlati, artifacts that are created thanks to the synergies of the players involved (designers, manufactoring companies, exhibitions). They offer engineering support services, research and development. Moda Futuribile for this edition of Pitti Filati presents a focus on sustainability, not just by limiting to an eco-sustainable approach, but rather by including the integrity of the system and its processes, sensitising to a critical design through the creation of artefacts resulting from the collaboration of a whole fashion system supply chain.

LINEAPIÙ. Beautiful the proposals of Lineapiù, a company that produces yarns for a long time making quality and creativity the cornerstone of their production. In this edition presented Lumen, a photosensitive yarn: a cotton ribbon coated with pigments which react when exposed to direct sources of ultraviolet rays, adding chromatic sheds to the original yarn.

VINTAGE SELECTION, the 31st edition in which the theme was The Next Past: that is the desire for remake, reboot and prequel. The clothing of the most famous movie sets in the ’70s,’ 80s and ’90s through striking outfits.
