On the occasion of the initiatives celebrating the 550th anniversary of Michelangelo’s birth (1475), Wang Yancheng, an internationally renowned Franco-Chinese artist, pays homage to the works of the Renaissance genius exhibited at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence with the exhibition “Light, Energy, Infinite”.

For Wang Yancheng it is completely natural to establish ideal connections with the great Masters of art history and the title chosen for the exhibition fits perfectly with Yancheng’s poetics, that is, a thought based on gesture and meditation, on matter and spirit.

His large works evoke interior and cosmic landscapes, in an extraordinary balance between order and disorder, offering the public an immersive and engaging experience.

Yancheng’s work perfectly blends echoes of the traditions of Chinese landscape painting, but also European and American extraction, in what has always been one of life’s most fascinating enigmas, namely the relationship between the human being and the universe.

“Michelangelo – says Wang Yancheng – teaches us that art is not just representation, but is a bridge to higher dimensions, where energy and spirit merge into a single, eternal manifestation. His works continue to inspire, reminding us that art is an act of connection with the universe and with infinity”.

A beautiful exhibition in an extraordinary setting, an interesting dialogue between past and present.

Good life to everyone!
