Mood Classroom by Beatrice Brandini

The 98th edition of Pitti Bimbo ended with positive results. The number of buyers arriving in Fortezza reached almost 2,000 presences, with a foreign percentage of 30%. Among the most important markets that came to the fair we saw Great Britain, the United States, Germany, Spain, China, Russia and many others.

215 brands present in this edition with a percentage of almost 60% coming from abroad. Numbers that make us understand how important it is to meet in Fortezza da Basso to present or discover new things and trends in children’s fashion collections.

More pictures of the most interesting things.

MOLO sustainable Scandinavian brand that offers creative children’s collections, characterized by fun prints and vibrant palettes. Outerwear, for example, is made with recycled polyester fibers. The ski collection for little ones who want to have fun, but also stand out, on the snow slopes is very beautiful.

Ludovica Amati by NANAN artist and designer who creates inspired by remote and mystical places, in particular by raising awareness of the protection of the Brazilian Amazon forest, the green lung of the planet and from which the collection draws inspiration. Floresta collection, in which a profusion of patterns and colors become the protagonists.

GENSAMI beautiful collections for babies, adults and pets; it’s not about “Mini Me” but about details that create ever-changing stories. Natural and noble fibres, a very high level of Made in Italy production do the rest.

Wonderful covers by Internazionale Kids.

The Editorials project dedicated to the Pajama Party!

Who wants to go to bed early? Nobody! Curtains, quilts, cushions, carpets, torches… become the accomplices of the wildest parties.

Gesti by Stefano Guindani, photographic exhibition in collaboration with Dogs to adopt of the Squadra a 4 zampe Foundation. Wonderful initiative because with a small contribution you can save man’s most faithful friends.

ANTONY MORATO Junior clothing from A to Z, from 4 to 16 years, with elegant and sporty proposals. Effective.

BALMAIN precious collection; the Balmain mood that we find in the adult is the same, but some details, although almost couture, play down the whole and the result, even if not for everyday and mainstream use, is very beautiful.

TARTINE ET CHOCOLAT irresistible French brand. Little pieces that seem to come out of a fairytale book, little women, little beautiful women.

STELLA MCCARTNEY KIDS the photos are not representative enough, I saw a colourful, imaginative, fun and VERY creative collection. Very good! All fabrics are eco-friendly, as are the shoes and accessories which are vegan.

Philipp Plein presents the new kids collection to the press. In perfect “Mini – Me” style there are all the iconographic subjects of the brand, for very young rock stars. The snow proposal is very beautiful.

Louise Misha a bohemian universe, with vintage touches. French taste in pastel and slightly “dusty” colours, in “grandmother’s” embroidery, in small handmade sweaters. The brand was born after returning from a trip to India, influences that we find in the collection, mixed with a very chic taste.

The Smurfs, blue icons of kids fashion, Alessandro Enriquez, creative, Cesare Morisco, art director and buyer of CoccoleBimbi, and Giuliana Parabiago, journalist and marketing consultant, discussed children’s fashion and cartoon icons: the SMURFs. A phenomenon born in 1958, still irresistible.

As always, Pitti Bimbo offered much more, confirming that the sector is still very much alive, despite the times not being too serene. The fair will return in June (from 19th to 21st) with still many nice surprises.

Good life to everyone!

Beatrice
