ALPHABET is the theme of the new Trend and Color Forecast space for P/E 2024. In a still very uncertain moment, the dynamics of next season seem to be caution and optimism, stop and go, hot and cold, right and left, fast and slow, in and out… The universe recovers, restarts, and in a context a bit chaotic, like today’s one, what is not lacking are the media and information solicitations from everywhere and on everything, which target and confuse us every day; Pitti Immagine, however, has a different thought, it accompanies us leaving us free to personally interpret our own path, each interpreting our own alphabet.

For the next Spring / Summer 2024, Pitti focuses the importance on dialogue, writing becomes important, remaining an ancient and contemporary tool at the same time, the identity of a people and a country, of its culture. The word alphabet derives from the union of the names of the first two letters of the Greek alphabet, Alpha, the first vowel and Beta, the first consonant. The alphabet is the set of primary codes that here inspire three thematic and aesthetic groups: the Greek alphabet, the Roman alphabet and the Arabic alphabet.
ALPHA the first theme is dedicated to the Greek alphabet and Greece. Playful and colorful theme, which gives way to a dreamlike and vibrant atmosphere.

CALLIGRAPHY is the second theme and is inspired by the Arabic alphabet, a supple, rich and designed alphabet. Rappers, street artists, stylists, in their places of origin or around the world, rework the Arab techniques and visual language, leaving the whole world speechless.

CAPITAL is the third theme dedicated to the Roman alphabet and to the capital, the eternal city, Rome. More rigorous theme, with orderly and regular shapes, like its alphabet which is characterized by capital and detached letters.

SHIMA SEIKI ITALIA It is always very interesting to see the Shima Seiki Italia exhibition because it presents beautiful samples, created to show the public the capabilities of Shima Seiki machinery. In this edition they were signed by Vittorio Branchizio, very beautiful.

E.Miroglio among the world leaders in the production and sale of yarns, woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. TOSCANO specialized in the production of fancy yarns for knitting, hand made and weaving machines. Lots of choice of silk, cotton, alpaca wool and mohair. I always like their creative proposal and a little out of the ordinary.
PERÙ ALPACA precious fibre, like mohair and cashmere, it is light, hypoallergenic, an excellent insulator because it retains the heat in the cold season and has refreshing properties in the hot one. Its 22-shade palette.. It’s incredible what you can do, the clothes photographed are proof of it!
Manifattura di Tollegno, with the display of splendid vintage garments made for sports use, a manufacture that has been creating beautiful merino wool yarns since 1900. If you look at the photos, they are all sweaters that we will wear today too, perfectly on trend.
SESIA manufacturing 1963, sustainability, responsible innovation, which for this brand already has a history of fifty years, when hardly anyone said these words. Creative yarns are designed by combining tradition and innovation.
With Pitti Filati the appointment will be at the next edition, from 28 to 30 June 2023 I can not wait!
