Gabriele Pasini’s proposals for Pitti
Man in grey by Beatrice Brandini
The 109th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo has concluded, featuring 750 men’s clothing and accessories brands from around the world. “Motion” was the theme of this edition, a word that represents dynamism, which is what we all hope for in the near future.
Paul & Shark: From a sail in Maine to lifestyle lines beloved around the world. Everyday elegance made of details and fine, high-performance fabrics.
Shinyakozuka Design x Tsuchiya Kaban: Japanese, winner of the LVMH Prize, highly sophisticated and conceptual, inspired by art but also by classics of universal literature such as “The Little Prince.” The brand is based on the concept of “picturesque scenery,” a highly appreciated theme.
Tela Genova: Excellence of Made in Italy, a brand that seeks to reinterpret workwear, military, and navy with a personal and authentic language.
J8Quality Masato Kayama: , the brand’s director of design, certifies a talent expressed in the construction of garments and Japanese refinement.
Paoloni: Born in the 1990s, it immediately stands out for its sartorial research, attention to detail, and choice of fine materials. In 2015, it launched the Black Label label, a collection for special occasions.
Sanyocoat: A leading Japanese company that has been dedicated to the art of making coats and raincoats for years. Strictly made in Japan.
Meindl Authentic Luxury: A tradition since 1683, suede is the key material of this brand, distinguished by an aristocratic taste reminiscent of Old England.
Premiata: A return to Florence, where it all began with sneakers. Today, a clothing line entirely made in Italy, it represents the evolution of a brand that now exports worldwide.
Aesse Eqp: Outwear that integrates three fundamental values: environment, quality, and protection.
Piacenza 1733: Precious and natural yarns combine with Biella’s inimitable craftsmanship.
Luigi Bianchi: A historic Mantua brand founded over 110 years ago. Today, it’s synonymous with sartorial luxury and excellent quality in raw materials and details.
Gabriele Pasini: Unmistakable looks that protect against that original and fun “imperfection” that takes nothing away from impeccably crafted garments.
Sartorio Napoli: Neapolitan tailoring reinterpreted with a blend of tradition and innovation.
Sun68: A brand that has celebrated casual style for twenty years, from outerwear to knitwear to accessories. “Every day, every day” is the brand’s slogan.
Helly Hansen: Founded in Norway in 1877, initially developing professional equipment, over the years it has invented fleece, revolutionary padding, waterproof membranes, and more. Today, it is a leader in technical outdoor, sailing, and ski apparel.
Pantofola D’oro: A long history in football, played by extraordinary figures (Rivera, Cruijff, Riva, Mazzola, etc.), characterized by a soft leather shoe that offered unparalleled comfort and performance. The brand has been reborn with modernity and technology. A style 100% made in Italy.
Idama: Functionality, performance, and style characterize products entirely made in Italy. Each piece is born from a fundamental question: what problem does it solve? The answer is beautiful and functional garments.
Septwolves: A Chinese company with high industrial capabilities. Functional technical sportswear line.
Aquascutum Active: Founded in London in 1851, Aquascutum Active reinterprets tradition with a contemporary flair. The brand’s flagship outerwear combines refinement and functionality.
Men Sketches by Beatrice Brandini: Never before have I seen such good taste and tailoring at Pitti this year; it’s wonderful to see that men want to be elegant again.
Pitti People: a series of decidedly cool images, men from around the world mixing styles for a decidedly personal result.

Pitti People
Pitti Uomo confirms its position as the most important and representative men’s fashion show in the world. A challenging economic situation, especially for the manufacturing and distribution sectors, seems to be heading toward a slightly positive outcome. Certainly, the decision to diversify the men’s offering, ranging from cutting-edge brands to Neapolitan haute couture, helps buyers understand what to buy and gives them confidence and choice.
Because Pitti has always been a place where dreams are presented and beautiful stories are told.
Good life to everyone!
Beatrice
